

He was born in Forsyth County to Joe and Josie Hinson. Dutch grew up in the City View Community of Winston Salem. He attended Walkertown High School. After high school, Dutch proudly served his country in the US Army in the 35th Infantry. He was employed by REA Express until their closing. He retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company.
Dutch is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Josie; wife, Faye Teague Hinson; siblings, Hubert Hinson, Melba Boston, and Delois Dull; and wife, Majalene S. Hinson. He is survived by his son, Steve Hinson; daughter, Melinda Gunter; grandchildren, Joy Hinson, Steven Hinson, Matthew Hinson, Romey Bradshaw, Austin Bradshaw, Magan Hinson, Christian Bradshaw, and Savannah Bradshaw; great-grandchildren, Chelsea Hinson, Caleb Thompson, Noah Bradshaw, and Maddox Blake; and many nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
A Visitation will be held Sunday, May 22, 2016 from 5-7pm at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home, 2951 Reynolda Rd. A Graveside Service will be held at Westlawn Gardens of Memory, 6135 Ridgecrest Point, on Monday at 11am.
