

Marian Tabbitt Gray passed away peacefully on January 14, 2014 at Novant Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC. With her at the time were Raymond Muldovan, her partner of 18 years, and Patricia Sowles, her granddaughter and former resident of Winston Salem. Also with her were several of Raymond’s children and his grandson.
Marian was born in Manteno , Illinois on July 13, 1924. She was valedictorian of her senior class at Manteno High School. After High School, Marian joined the Navy and served her country during World War II. Later Marian moved to Mount Holly, North Carolina and lived from 1952 to 1968. Marian served as an Executive with a Commercial Financing company for many years while in Mount Holly. She was also active in the Republican Party. She moved to Winston Salem in 1995.
Marian is survived by her partner, Raymond Muldovan; two sons, John Andrew Keller III and Dr. Robert David Keller; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Another son, Dr. Ted Steven Keller, preceded his Mother in death.
During Marian’s time in Winston Salem, she made many friends. She showed her love and esteem for everyone but she was especially fond of Raymond’s ten children and grandchildren.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be Saturday, January 18, 2014, 2:00 pm, at Vogler and Sons Reynolda Chapel.
