She was born on July 5, 1933 in Forsyth County to the late Charlie and Mamie Leonard.
She is survived by her sisters, Bonnie Spaugh and Linda (Wayne) Garner; brother, Frank (Mary) Leonard; children, Charles (Jo Ann) Welch and Shirley (Terry) Laney; grandchildren, Jason Welch, Jessica (Jonathan) Miller, and Michael Laney; great-grandchildren, Cameron Welch, Lauren Welch, Coen Miller, and Ava Miller; and many nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 15th at 2pm at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home, 2951 Reynolda Rd, with Pastor Jason Holley officiating. The family will receive friends for a visitation at 1:30pm. Burial will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park.
