Patricia Raye (Schooley) Marceaux

Patricia worked as a travel agent where she was able to put her love of traveling and adventure to use. She was fearless and strong and would always fight for what she thought was right.

She is preceded in death by her father, George Schooley; her grandson, Braydon Guerrero; her stepfather, Larry Thornton; and her grandparents Don and Anna Jo Atkinson and Florian and Irma Schooley.

Patricia leaves behind memories for her husband of 20 years, Michael Marceaux; children, Mandy Pelletier, J’aime (Justin) Ottaviano, Chad (Cristine) Guerrero, Kali (Christopher) Metzger, J’styn Guerrero, J’riah (Kerry) Guerrero, and Kenna Marceaux; grandchildren, Darius and Lucus Pelletier, Grant, Preston, and Ella Ottaviano, Zoe Tweeten and Jaxon Guerrero, Brannon and Kaden Metzger, Isaiah and Jaron Guerrero, and Hazen and A’Loura Marceaux; mother, Fran Thornton; siblings, David (Sharlene) Schooley, Elizabeth (Mark) Einsel, Leanna Schooley, and Robert (Angie) Atkinson; and many nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends around the world.

Patricia was an amazing wife, mother, “Mimi,” and friend. Her compassion knew no bounds. She was willing to do anything for those she loved. Her caring, selfless, yet sassy personality will truly be missed by all that knew her.

A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, August 18th at 3pm at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home in Clemmons, 2849 Middlebrook Dr.
