He was born to Walter and Myra Rennick in Cleveland, Ohio on May 5, 1930. He served his country proudly in the Navy. Richard spent his early years as a manager of Good Year stores. His later years, he went into banking, retiring from Key Corp.
Richard is preceded in death by his brother, Theodore (Ellen) Rennick, and sister, Marylin (Bill) Detweiler. He is survived by his wife, Linda Rennick; his first wife, Trude; children, Richard Rennick, Jr., Scott (Sue) Rennick, Derek Rennick, Charles (Elisa) Wilson, Jr., and Lea (Neal) Pletsch; grandchildren, William Wilson, Shelby Wilson, Dustin (Amanda) Ames, and Joshua Ames; great-grandchildren, Ellie Wilson and Kane Ames; and many other loved ones.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
