Sandra Barnes Reich passed away on December 27, 2020, at the age of 72. Sandra was born in Boone, NC, on July 25, 1948, and spent much of her life in Winston-Salem, NC. Sandra loved her family, God, and sunny days. Sandra was a member of Olivet Moravian Church. She was dedicated to her work in customer service and proud of the many awards she won in her field. In her spare time, Sandra enjoyed being outside in her garden or just enjoying the weather. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, James “Jim” Barnes and Margaret “Peg” Barnes; husband, William “Bill” Reich; and daughter, Tammy Slater. She leaves behind her granddaughter, Mackenzie (Glenn) Rhodes; great granddaughter, Ella Rhodes; son-in-law, Louie (Lori) Slater, Jr.; sisters, Sue (Mike) Kidd and Kathy (Randy) Spainhour; sister-in-law, Johanna Reich; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
There will be a private family service. A celebration of life service will be announced later. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
