She was the widow of Luther Wesley McBride, Sr. They had four children, two boys and two girls. The oldest son, Luther Wesley McBride, Jr., who preceded her in death, Gurland Roberts, Ellen Ahearn, and Michael McBride. She has eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Her love in life was serving others.
The visitation will be Thursday, December 15th from 6-8pm at Frank Vogler & Sons Funeral Home Clemmons Chapel, 2849 Middlebrook Dr. The funeral service will be held at Union United Methodist Church, 8935 Shallowford Rd, on Friday, December 16th at 3pm.
