William Earl Griffiths passed away on July 29, 2020 at the North Carolina Veterans Home in Salisbury. He was born on August 9, 1930 in Clairton, PA. Mr. Griffiths proudly served his country in the US Army. He retired from the US Army with 21 years of active service including time in Vietnam. After his service, he went on to work for Mclean Trucking where he also retired.
Mr. Griffiths leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Margaret; his children, Sharon (Brian), Judy, Jeff (Maria), Mark (Deanna), and Michael (Katie); grandchildren, Jake, Meridith, Heather, Brandon, Miranda, Timothy, Patricia (John), Katie, Lindsay, and Maryann; great grandchildren, Zoey and Harper; and many other loved ones. He was preceded in death by his sons, Joseph and Richard.
The family will have a private funeral service. Mr. Griffiths will be buried at Forsyth Memorial Park.
