Warren was retired from Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center where he had a career as a manager in engineering. Warren was outgoing and lived his whole life in and around Clemmons where he had many friendships. Warren was passionate about singing and was formally active in a gospel group and a show band. He loved his camping “family” at VanHoy Campground where he enjoyed golf cart rides and cookouts. Most of all, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren who lovingly called him “Paw-paw”.
Warren is preceded in death by his father, Bill Howard, and his mother Doris Howard. He is survived by: his wife, Beth Howard of the home, his son, Joe Howard and wife, Kendra, and their children, Justin Howard and Jenna Thomasson. His son, Mike Howard and wife Paula and their children, Landon and Rylee. His daughter, Erin Kennedy and husband, Jeff, and their children, Maddie and Cole. He is also survived by his sisters Debbie Lenderman(Randy) and Melanie Harris(Scott) and their families.
