

Beloved son of the late Rose and Paul Harris; cherished husband for 66 years of Jeannette D. Harris (nee Turkin); dear devoted and loved father of the late Maureen Ellen Harris, Rhonda (Paul) Kupfer of Coral Springs, Florida and Brian (Susan) Harris of Mayfield Heights, OH; adored grandfather of Marni (John) Sabia, Zachary (Tara) Kupfer, Cassie (Daniel) Norris, Maxwell Harris, Jocelyn Harris, Hannah (Shawn) Slater, and Sophie Harris; great-grandfather to Olivia and Lyla Sabia and Jack Kupfer; loving brother of the late Sanford Harris and dear brother-in-law to the late Yetta Shubert.
Albert was a WWll veteran of the Army Air Force. He served as an Aerial Gunner, fighting battles in Italy, Southern France and Central Europe. He received medals and distinguished citations including the Bronze Star, Air Medal with Oak Leaf Clusters for Heroic Service and the Purple Heart for being wounded in action and taken as a POW.
Albert loved sports, being a Champion Weightlifter at the top of his list. He taught classes in his home gym to teach confidence, strength training, face challenges, be patient, and to adopt discipline. For relaxation, he landscaped his yard, which he took great pride in.
Albert will be always be loved, never forgotten and forever missed!.
Services will be held Tuesday, November 10, at 11 am, at Bet Olam Cemetary, 25796 Chagrin Blvd., Beachwood, Ohio. Those attending the service must wear a mask and observe social distancing.
No Visitation at the home.
