I am deeply saddened to hear of  Allen's passing. I will never forget how kind and personal he was. Every time I came to the house to pick Dave up, he seemed to be outside waiting with kind words and wondering how my life was going. I will always cherish the talks we had. Allen was an amazing person whose friendship, wisdom and sense of humor we will forever cherish.
  
He was well loved by all of us at The Symphony Group, his many client contacts that he worked with through the years and even a few unscrupulous landlords that may have unfortunately appeared on his radar.

I cannot imagine having another venti Starbucks or glass of red wine and not think of our dear friendâ€¦.. Allen Slivka.  I only wish he was still around to check my grammar with this obit.  He was the best wordsmith in the business.

He will be forever missed but his influence on our lives certainly makes each of us a better person for having known him.
