David Alan Stuart, beloved husband of Judie (nee Scherzer), loving father of Ian (Kate) Stuart and Erica Anne Stuart, devoted grandfather of Adam, Lily, Josh, Liam and Sara, brother of Jackie Stuart, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022. He was 78 years old.
Dave had a full and happy life. He and Judie married in 1970, worked in New York City and soon after welcomed their children. Dave mastered the craft of Sailing, the art of Sales, and led his family to California by way of Maryland, to continue building their lives together. He was proud to welcome five grandchildren over the years, he took up the hobby of Photography, and enjoyed his canine friends Malcolm, Mattie and Jeb. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is also survived by his brother-in-law Larry (Carole) Scherzer, brother-in-law Don (Toni) Scherzer and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Alden and Marion Stuart, aunt Mildred Allen, and sister Sue Hedges.
Services will be held Thursday, January 20th, at 12:30 pm, at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel, 1985 S. Taylor Rd. Cleveland Heights, Ohio.
