

A member of the Western Reserve Kennel Club, Deanne loved animals and had two Dandie Dinmont Terrier show dogs, one of which was a champion. She was a volunteer at Ronald McDonald House and belonged to Congregation Beth Am (later B’nai Jeshurun), whose Youth Commission she co-chaired with her husband.
She enjoyed gardening, visiting museums and going to the theater and ballet. Born in Cleveland, OH, Deanne was raised in Cleveland, OH before moving to Cleveland Heights, OH, and attended Ohio University before working for Allstate.
Deanne is survived by her daughters, Lisa of San Francisco and Amy. Deanne was predeceased by parents; Ethyl and Leonard Faigin, her husband Calvin Kossiver and her brother, Larry Faigin. Thank you to Dianne Jackson, her caregiver, for the past 6 years. Also, thank you to Hatzalah, Beachwood Fire Department, Dr. Joseph Tramer, Maureen Allen, Dr. Ethel Smith, Anna Maria at Kensington and Hospice of the Western Reserve.
