Condolences on the loss of Dr. Weinberg. I'll always remember the years that I cared for him and Mrs. Weinberg while working at Home Instead. Dr. Weinberg taught me a lot and was an inspiration to so many. May he rest in peace along side the love of his life, Mrs. Weinberg. Shereda Finch

Dear Aunt Harriet, Uncle Mel, Armin Sanford, Adelle, Scott, Rachel and Michelle,
Your father and grandfather was an exceptional man. He had so many gifts and was a brilliant, loving and compassionate man. Dr. Herman Weinberg will be missed a great deal. He was as compassionate as he was brilliant. Let me extend our sincere and deepest sympathies on behalf of the entire Ziskind family.  With sincere sympathies and deepest condolences on the passing of Herman. He filled our lives with so much. Let us carry his memory throughout the rest of our lives.

We have lost a truly beautfiul soul.  Uncle Herman was one of a kind.  I hope that we can all take on a small part of his love and generosity so we can always honor his legacy.

    "PASSING THROUGH"

 I really don't have to much time to linger along the way for there is much I want to do, and there are things that I must say. I'm living here on borrowed time, and I'm just passing through.This life is a short and rugged road, and I'm just passing through.
 
And if I glimpse the morning sun, and then see nothing more that golden sun will be enough to be so thankful for while I'm just passing through.
 
I will laugh, and I will have some fun. I won't fret at all about the things I've left undone while I'm just passing through.
 
I'll simply do the best I can, and to myself be true. What others say won't bother me while I'm just passing through.
 
But I will take time to cheer a child, and share a dream or two. I'll find a spot, and plant a rose, and hope it blooms for you while I'm just passing through.
 
The path I choose may have some stones that some may throw at me. But somewhere I will find a friend who will treat me brotherly. And when the two of us must part we will say "so longâ€. Just to be thankful we shared a while a friendship that last so very long.
 
This world is not our home, we're just passing through. I'll walk life's rugged road with strength to meet each task. Each final hour draws me nearer to my final day of rest. So give my rose to those who live, and let your tears be few for no one lingers very long when we're just passing through.

I was both fortunate and blessed to know Dr. Weinberg.He always shared wise and meaningful words of wisdom.He will be missed but never forgotten.

To the Weinberg family, Dr. Weinberg was so interested in preserving his family history. He did not attend meetings of the Jewish Genealogy Society in the past few years, but we kept in touch by e-mail. He always replied with a kind word.

My sincerest condolences to your family. Over the past several years, Dr. Weinberg almost never missed my pottery classes. He always came with a joy filled smile and a warm and friendly greeting. When we made mezuzahs, he shared scripture with me. He was so kind to everyone. It was such a blessing to visit with him and so much fun to share that time. I will really miss him!

I deeply feel your loss.  Having known your family for approximately sixty years, I know what a kind and gentle man Dr. W. was. His concern for patients was real.  Respect for him in the community was also very real.  And to say that he was a role model for what a family means and should be cannot be understated.  You were all blessed to have him as your father, grandfather, uncle etc.  He always had a fond place in my heart. May you all find comfort in all of your wonderful memories.

Although I never met Dr Weinberg, I was lucky enough to hear stories about him from his grand children, and great grand children. How lucky everyone was to be able to call him Dad, Grandpa, and GG. My father knew him and was totally in awe of his daily e mails, and his remarkable abilities to age with such grace. May his memory be a blessing to all of you during this difficult time.

My family met your family in the hospital, the week you and I were born.  Ever since, there has been a special bond between us.  Clearly, the passing of dear one such as your father, brings with it the feeling of  huge loss and emptiness. I wish everyone could have a Great Uncle Hermie! He is one of the best men I have ever known. The Weinberg "gene" is still among us all and we need to pass along the many positive traits it carries to our children and our children's children. It is special and precious and Uncle Hermie made sure we all felt it. We love you Uncle Hermie and our Weinberg Family!

Dr. Weinberg was like a father to me as I grew up in the Weinberg home.  He was a warm, caring human being whose memory will be with me always.

Saw him just a few weeks ago.  Fitting that he "made" us go to Shabbat services with him and insisted that we share his lunch so we wouldn't be hungry.    How typical.  We won't be at the funeral but know that he will be surrounded (just as he was by the pictures on his walls) by his loving family.  May his memory be a blessing to us all.

Although I never met Granpa face to face I felt as though he was part of my family.  Granpa will surely be missed by all.

The world has lost a great man today.  I met Grandpa Weinberg about twenty years ago and have been touched by his generosity, wise teachings, and love of family ever since.  He welcomed me into the Weinberg clan and made me feel a part of this great legacy.   He is a role model for me and my family.  May his memory serve as a blessing for us all.
