I was so saddened to learn of Uncle Morty''s passing.....He was a great Doc who helped so many people through the years . He was a really good friend to many, a wonderful husband , father and grandfather....may all the wonderful memories help you during this very difficult time. Thinking of all of you. I just want to express my deepest sympathy. "Uncle Morty and Aunt Betty", 2 of my parents, Elmer and Roz bestest of friends from the "old days". When Elmer was ill, even though in Cincinnati, he would contact Morty. Speaking for the Olkes family, our thoughts are with you.

Dear Betty, Sue and I send our condolences to you and Sharon. Mort was not only our family physician, you and Mort were kind and loyal friends to Mom and Dad. Dr. Sass, which is how us kids referred to him out of profound respect, weathered us through many storms and was an inspiration for my becoming a physician.

To Betty and Family:

Mort was one of the kindest souls I have ever encountered.  He is certainly responsible for my meeting Marian which led to almost 29 of the happiest years of my life.

Dear Betty and family,
Please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of Morty. He will always be "Uncle Morty" to me and to so many others! My heart goes out to all of you on this tremendous loss.

To the Family of Dr. Sass you have my sincere condolences he was a kind and gentle man. I remember him from Huron Hospital.

He was not only the first "family doctor" I knew, but he was a kind, gracious man.  My thoughts are with you.

Uncle Morty, I love you so much - you were the glue that held us all together, the 'go-to" guy.  How many times would we all call you for everything we needed.  Thank you for saving my life.  You proomised my parents you wouldn't let me die, and you didn't.  I owe you my life!  I wonder how many other Clevelanders do also!  Too many to count I am sure.  I love you.  I hope you are hugging your precious Neil right now.
