A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Eidya lived a remarkable life. A Holocaust survivor and a dedicated nurse, she brought compassion and resilience to everything she did. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing, filling the lives of those around her with joy, laughter, and warmth. Her vibrant spirit, sense of humor, and deep love for people touched all who knew her.
Eidya is survived by her loving sons, Mark (Irina) Leybovich and Alex (Gina) Leybovich; her cherished grandchildren, Ron Leybovich, Anya Hodgson, Leo Leybovich, and Leya Oziel; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Ben, Ari, Sarah, Bella, and Rafael, Shia, Eve, Ayla and Isaac.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lev and Hanna, and by her husband, Viktor Leybovich.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Bet Olam Cemetery, 25796 Chagrin Blvd., Beachwood, OH 44122.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the directors of Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel.
