Our beautiful Mom, Elayne Kwait, (née Sacks), daughter of Sylvia and Ezra Sacks, left our world in the early morning, August 21, 2025, after a brief illness. She was surrounded by the love of her devoted family: her husband of 68 years, Robert Kwait; her son Todd (Carol); daughter Darcee Cohen (Randall); granddaughters, Jenna Rabin (Andrew), Carly Maidment (Tristan) and Maya Cohen; her grandsons Chad Cohen and Alec Kwait; her brother-in-law Lee Kwait (Gail) and her brother Gary Sacks (Lois).
She leaves an everlasting impact on countless nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, neighbors and business associates. She treated everybody as if they were the most important person in the world. She taught everybody to believe in themselves and to remain confident. Her legacy will live on through everybody that she touched.
We give heartfelt thanks to the caregiving team at the Hospice of the Western Reserve for the excellent care they provided for our loved one.
