Esther Goodman was my kindergarten teacher at Belvoir Elementary School in University Heights, Ohio.  I cherish the good times we all had together.

Miss Goodman. I will always remember her beautiful smile and seeing her going to visit her sister, who I lived around the corner from. She was the best.

Miss Goodman was a wonderful kindergarten teacher, and I really enjoyed being a student in her class.  I am sure that everyone will miss her presence.

Miss Goodman was such a kind, compassionate teacher--perfect for children at that age. No pressure, just comfort and support. God bless her.

She was a remarkable lady who never married, but considered all of us her children. When I married she was thoughtful enough to send a wonderful note along with a photo she had saved of me on the playground. Ken Jacobs and I visited her at Montefiore a year ago and she still had that beautiful smile.

WIshing the family comfort during this most difficult time. She was a kind, gentle, great lady and  was the "MISS SALLY" of Romper Room back in the day for sure! (I think they were actually friends) Thanks for the great memories Miss Goodman - you will be missed but always treasured.

Miss Goodman was my teacher in 1960. She taught me how to tie my shoe laces. I ran into her as an adult and she was still the sweet & kind women I remembered as a 5 yr old.  My depest sympathy to all her family & the students who had the privilage of being taught by her.

Miss Goodman was my first teacher and the best one I ever had.  It was a great honor to her into the Heights High Hall of Fame and I will never forget that day.  I was just talking about her last week to my son's kindergarten teacher and telling her how amazing she was.  She will truly be missed.

Miss Goodman's legion students were among the luckiest children in the world!  I am privileged to count myself among them.  For nearly sixty years, I have thought of Esther as a friend.  This brings heartfelt sympathy to all of those who loved her.

When it was SO many years ago that Miss Goodman was my teacher, and there were so many after her that I do not even remember names, faces or anything, it is a testament to how wonderful a teacher she was to me & my other siblings!

Loved by all. A blessing for any child lucky enough to be in her class. xxx

An amazing life to have touched so many families.  I was lucky enough to have been a student and to have run into Ms. Goodman as an adult.  She will never be forgotten.

What a great lady!  I had the pleasure of having lunch with my dear teacher a couple years ago.  She was beautiful as ever and I feel so lucky to have spent this time with her.  She inspired my speech when I was first elected judge 20 years ago.  Everything I need to be a good judge I learned in kindergarten from you-know-who. I will treasure all she taught me.
