Sandy was the son of Herold and Clara (Schaffner) Fellinger of Shaker Hts., Ohio.
Sandy attended Darrow Prep School, Washington and Lee University and John Carroll University following his service in the Army.
Sandy worked his professional career in the insurance industry in Cleveland. Sandy’s many interests included the Cleveland Browns, tennis, golf and bridge. Playing bridge was by far his strong suit, reaching the level of Life Master.
Sandy was preceded in death by his ex-wife Erika Sand and survived by his children Lewis (Stacey) and Robert (Megan) and his 5 grandchildren: Steven, Jackson, Sabrina, Dillon and Conner (Wilson), his sister Edith Fellinger Hirsch and his long time companion Nancy Cousins.
Gifts in Sandy’s memory can be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve.
There will be a gathering at 2830 Concord Rd, Pepper Pike Ohio 44124 on Sunday, August 31, 2025 from 2:00-5:00 PM.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the directors of Berkowitz- Kumin - Bookatz Memorial Chapel.
