JOSEPH BERGER, beloved husband of the late Julia (nee Finkelstein); devoted father of Stuart Berger, Alan Berger (Gayl), Barbara Berger (Eli Ofek) and Amy Zlotnik (Mitchell); loving grandfather of ten. He graduated Glenville H.S., Adelbert College and Western Reserve Law School. He was a Master Mason, Forest City Lodge and a founding brother of University Heights Lodge. Joe was admitted to the Ohio and Federal Bar. Founder of Berger & Kirschenbaum Attorneys at Law. Central Committee member of the Cuyahoga Republican Party. Treasurer of the Cleveland Bar Association. Treasurer of the American Trial Lawyers Association. Founding Trustee of Roscoe Pound Foundation. Commissioner of the Cleveland Port Authority. Member 6th Judicial District Conference. Real Estate Developer. Member of B’nai Jeshurun Congregation, Beechmont Country Club and the Polo Club of Boca Raton. Founder of Berger & Zavesky Attorneys at Law. Graveside services will be held at Bet Olam Cemetery (corner of Richmond and Chagrin Rds.) on Sunday, September 6 at 1:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the residence of Alan & Gayl Berger, 3535 Rolling Hills Dr., Pepper Pike IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING SERVICES SUNDAY UNTIL 8 PM AND MONDAY FROM 1-4 & 6-8 PM. Contributions are suggested to B’nai Jeshurun Congregation or Menorah Park.
