I was one of Isaac’s advisory students at CWRU in the late 1990s.  I remember him as being very kind, sensitive, funny.  He loved music, was annoyed by his PC, and was very proud of his wife and his students. He made an  indelible mark on his students and will always be a warm memory of CWRU for me.  Baruch Dayan Emet.

I met Isaac & N'omi at Kitty Hawk, NC in 1999. Isaac and I shared a ride in this Stearman. N'omi said he could go if he stopped complaining about the air conditioning being broken in their car. Our 15-minute ride turned into more than a half-hour ride. The pilot seemed to be thrilled to have two such enthusiastic passengers. A couple of years later, Isaac came out to Boise for a visit. We took a 250 mile spin around central Idaho in my little blue Porsche, saw a rodeo while he was here, visited the Warhawk Museum, the Anne Frank Memorial and more. We've been waiting to hear when he was planning his next trip to the wild West. I've been trying to call him since the first of the year. So sad to learn of his passing. Our sympathy to all of his family.

I just learned of  your father’s November death.  I regret not knowing sooner, although 	I doubt that anything I could have said would have been of real comfort.

Anyway,  I understand that you are still in Ohio. You and your sister,of course ,have my most sincere condolences on your father’s passing  from this life.i.  It seems to. me. that he lived  a very fine life., rich in love and accomplishment. He certainly raised an accomplished daughter who loved and was loved by him: this was apparent to all who knew you. I am sorry not to have met him.

Issac was a wonderful neighbor and friend. We shared Thanksgivings, backyard fireside chats and many sidewalk talks. His intelligence and his devotion to friends all over the country was stellar. Issac was a fundamentally good, honest man who had a strong spirit to live life to his fullest, even in recent months of physical challenges.  I am proud to call him my friend and will always carry his spirit in my heart. Rest in peace Issac.... Love, Debbie Baum
