I'm so sorry to learn of Jack's death. He was one of my mother's (Eliza Rogers) special friends at the Senior Center. Mom passed away last year. She always appreciated his quick wit and intelligent conversations, and I think he enjoyed her piano-playing. He will be missed by many.

You know folks that Jack was near and dear to me. He was the last link to my folks. I know he wanted me to call more often but in reality it was tough to find things to talk about. I often thought of him. How it spent time after Jeanne died with my mom and dad, how he took such good care of Samantha when Jeanne was gone. Lowie, i appreciate you looking for my folks graves. I has such trauma with the final passing of my mom, that I haven't gone back. I hope you will be my eyes next time you are there. I think of you guys often. I admire you and Betty heading into Israel. I wish you all the best. I will send a donation on behalf of my family. I hope we don't lose touch. Be well. Lori

I had the pleasure and privilege of being Jack's book buddy for a number of  years.  About every two months i would bring to him a stack of audio books from the public library.  He had a very diverse taste and enjoyed everthing from history to biographies.  He also had an awesome jazz collection, which he treasured.

Jack was a sweet, interesting and very nice man.  I will miss him.  My condolences to his family, especially to Lowell.
