December 18, 1938 – December 8, 2025
Jacqueline Lowy, a devoted Daughter, sister and aunt, and lifelong animal lover, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025. Born on December 18, 1938, to Irwin and Fanny Lowy, Jacqueline grew up in a warm, close-knit family that shaped the caring and hardworking woman she became.
Jacqueline spent many years running an appliance store, where her strong work ethic, determination, and kindness touched countless customers and community members. She was especially known for her deep love of animals—her cherished cats, Zeus, Hera, Troy, and Apollo, were truly her “fur babies” and constant companions.
She shared a special bond with her sisters, Rochelle “Shelly” Lowy and Randi Armstrong, whose relationships brought her tremendous joy and support throughout her life. Jacqueline also leaves behind her brother Ronald Lowy and his wife Judith, as well as a loving host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Leon Lowy.
A private graveside service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to an animal welfare organization of your choice, in honor of Jacqueline’s lifelong love for animals.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel.
