Janice Beverly Klein

Born on February 28, 1931, to the late Leslie and Sadie Copeland, Janice grew up in Cleveland alongside her brother, Don Copeland. She remained rooted in the city she cherished throughout her life.

Janice was the beloved wife of the late Bertram “Buddy” Klein, and a devoted mother to Sherri, Debbie (Richard), Perry (Terri), and Susan. She was a proud grandmother to Allison (Torrey), Michael (Carly), Jeremy (Hannah), Jacob, and Jordan, and a joyful great-grandmother to Logan and Jack. She was also a loving aunt to Lori Copeland (Danny).

With a career in retail and an active social life, Janice was spirited, funny, and unapologetically no-nonsense. She loved playing cards and mahjong with friends, hosting holidays, cooking meals for her family, shopping for treasures, and vacationing with those she loved most. Family was always the heart of her world.

Janice will be remembered for her humor, her honesty, and the way she made every gathering brighter. She leaves behind countless memories that will live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 1PM at Mt. Sinai Cemetery Association Mayfield Village, OH.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the directors of Berkowitz Kumin and Bookatz Memorial Chapel.
