Joel Scott Dvorin, age 78, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 28, 2025. He was born on April 24, 1947, to Marvin and Elaine Dvorin.
A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Joel served his country with honor and continued to embody the values of service and discipline throughout his life. He was passionate about martial arts and dedicated many years to teaching others. Joel also found joy in the simple things—playing golf, caring for his beloved dogs, and cherishing time spent with family and friends.
Joel is survived by his loving wife; Susan, his children; Eric and Melissa, his grandchildren; Nelson and Stephanie and his great-grandchild; Kylee. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
A graveside military service will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 2:15 PM at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Seville, OH 44273.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Berkowitz Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel.
