Joy was married to the late James, whom she cherished dearly. She is survived by her beloved sons, Lee and Kent, daughters-in-law, Nan and Valerie, grandchildren David, Glenn, Steven and Rachel, and great-grandchild Sophia Joy. She was also the sister of Herbert Cohn, who died while fighting for his country during World War II.
A memorial service will take place on July 13th at 10am at the Berkowitz Kumin Bookatz Memorial Chapel, 1985 S. Taylor Road in Cleveland Heights. Please join the family at the Cleveland Marriott East, 26300 Harvard Rd. in Warrensville Heights from 2pm – 8pm after the service in the Cuyahoga Hospitality Room to celebrate Joy’s life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank.
