

Judith Rita Greenman (née Pollack), loving wife, mother, grandmother. Born July 11th, 1942 (Brooklyn, NY), died April 24th, 2026 (Beachwood, OH). Daughter of Sol and Ruth Pollack (née Schwalb). Older sister of Rachel Pollack. Grew up in Brooklyn, NY and later moved with her family to Poughkeepsie, NY. Judith attended Brooklyn College. She married Elliot Howard Greenman in 1964 sharing a 62-year marriage. Professionally, Judith worked as a bookkeeper for several companies/organizations including Peck & Peck department store (New York City); EAI Electronics Associates (West Long Branch, NJ); Sri Venkateswara Temple (Pittsburgh, PA); Congregation Beth Shalom (Pittsburgh, PA); Thermal Industries (Pittsburgh, PA); and the Monroeville Public Library (Monroeville, PA). Judith was an active sisterhood member of both Parkway Jewish Center and Gemilas Chesed synagogues. After her wedding, Judith lived in Elberon, NJ (1964-1966), Monroeville, PA (1966), Plum Boro, PA (1967-1979), and Monroeville, PA (1979-2023). Her final years were in Beachwood, OH.. Judith devoted her life to charities and volunteer work, crocheting blankets for children and adults, and volunteering at hospitals. Judith was beloved for her kindness, her loving nature, her generosity, and nurturing spirit. She took great pride in her Jewish culture and heritage, keeping a kosher home, regularly attending religious services, and celebrating the Jewish holidays. Family was always at the center of her life, both past and present.
Judith is survived by her husband Elliot Howard Greenman, her sons Steven Mark Greenman (wife - Tamar Pnina Gontovnik) and Martin Bruce Greenman (wife - Jennifer Lynn Greenman), and her grandsons, Simon Greenman, Gabriel Greenman, Noah Greenman, and Jacob Greenman.
