I just yesterday learned of Kevin's passing, and I am stunned.  I worked with Kevin in Rhode Island, and I was always struck by how smart, humorous, and kind he was.  My heart breaks for him and for his family.

I was so sorry to hear about Kevin's passing.  The world will  be deprived of an extraordinary person who approached his work with extreme passion, who possessed a great sense of humor and help lighten up an often pressure filled  profession and who was always extraordinarily kind and respectful of everyone around him. 
No doubt that Kevin will be missed greatly by everyone he touched.

I just found out about Kevin's passing.  I always enjoyed seeing Kevin at conferences and trading stock ideas, and gossiping about the market.  You were a good man, Kevin.  You will be missed.  Rest in peace.

Kevin and I were both at Michigan, and I had the pleasure of working with him over the years and got to know him as a friend.  He was a truly great professional and person.   He will be sorely missed.   My sincere condolences to his family.   They will all remain in my prayers.

I met and worked with Kevin, not long ago, however, one could tell immediately that he was smart, kind, and a wonderful individual.

I have fond memories of Kevin who was a student in Dance Fever. Always looking handsome and being kind to his dance partners. It is devastating for you and his children to suffer his loss. I am still stunned knowing that Kevin is gone. I just learned today. I wish I had one more lunch, one more Baseball game, one more round of Golf, one more day at the track and one more phone call with him. That is not possible and it makes me very sad. I would like everyone to know, and especially Kevin's children that their father was a very talented guy and a person I was proud to call my friend.  Inquisitive, sharp, witty, honest, kind and successful he was as many have said one of a kind. Early on in my career as an equity analyst, Kevin helped me work on an investment thesis I was formulating.  It was one of the first times that anyone in this very competitive field lent me a hand or paid me much attention.  And that gesture stuck with me some 12+ years later.  That, it turns out, was typical K-Fed and it represents so much about who he was.  This past year, as both of us worked towards the next steps in our career Kevin continually utilized his Rolodex on my behalf and I worked hard to return his kindnesses.  I wish, as you all do, that I had the opportunity to see what he would have done next - surely it would have been great.  Kevin you will be deeply missed, you've left us way too early and I send my strength and love to your children, family and loved ones.

To the Feder Family, we were very sorry to hear of your loss.  We cannot even begin to imagine what a difficult time this is for all of you. I met your son in January of 2016. I was the agent that rented the apartment to Mr. Feder at The Biltmore Tower where Mr. Feder resided. Just for the short time I knew Mr. Feder. He was a very nice man and loved his children.Seeing him every month when he came to paid his rent put a smile on my face. He will be miss around here as well.

We were so sad to hear the news. We have fond memories of your family and are thinking of you all.

I am so sad to hear this news.  Kevin had made many friends when he lived in Wellesley, MA and we would have a blast with him on the tennis courts at Pine Brook.

I wish we had the words. We loved Kevin so much. Our hearts go out to the entire family. The world lost a funny and sweet guy.

With so many wonderful qualities, Kevin made a lasting impression--honest, kind and thoughtful in a business that often ignores everything but performance. A great sense of humor--the ability to make people laugh in bad times as well as good. Loyal and trustworthy. 

One great memory is of going with him to visit a company in the Midwest that few investors fully understood at the time. He did his research prior to the visit. So, when we met the management, he knew the stock would be a home run. Half way through the meetings, he walked out of the room during a break, called his trader and placed a huge investment in the stock. Within six months the stock was up more than 50%. I can still picture him smiling, so happy about the result. And, while he did his own analysis to reach the right conclusion, he showed great appreciation to me for supporting him, which he didn't need to do. 

He was honest in a way that disarmed people, even when it had the potential to upset. Having worked closely with him, I had no qualms asking him for his top Institutional Investor vote. But, to paraphrase, he said "You will get my #2 vote, since my friend Tom also works on a lot with me and gave me my opportunity on Wall Street. So I have to give it to him. I hope you're not mad." I couldn't be upset. I just liked him more for being real. 

Having retired several years ago, I hadn't seen him in a few years, but I knew he was a friend, a person I could call for support anytime. 

Kevin, you're wonderful! You left us way too soon. You are sorely missed.
