LAURENCE J. BENDLER, age 94, died January 7, 2015. World War II Army Air Corps veteran. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis (nee Zupnick); devoted father of Warren (Janell) and Robert Bendler (deceased); loving grandfather of Alissa Bendler (fiancee Steven Merrifield) and Emily Bendler; dear brother of Esther Wittner of Boston and the following deceased: Etta, Gussie and Adele. Private interment at Mt. Olive Cemetery. Memorial services will be held at The Weils, 16695 Chillicothe Road, Chagrin Falls, on Friday, January 9 at 1 PM.
