Leonid loved family gatherings, music, and fishing, and he found joy in being surrounded by people.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Olga Shkolnikov; his children, Igor Shkolnikov (Iryna), Helen Shkolnikov (Michael), Irina P’Simer (Tom), and Yury Shkolnikov; and his grandchildren, Alina Stillman, Yana Shkolnikov, Nathan Shkolnikov, Joseph Shamosh, Cameron P’Simer, and Alexis P’Simer; and his great-grandchildren Aiden and Jackson Stillman, and Sonny Scigliano. He is also survived by his siblings, Irina (Edward) Seleznyov and Joseph (Helen) Shkolnikov. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel, with friends welcome to call one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery in Solon, OH.
