Linda Hyams

Linda Jane Hyams (née Regan), aged 65, passed away unexpectedly on the morning of Saturday, March 14, 2026. She was born in East Cleveland, Ohio, on August 23, 1960, to the late William Regan and Chloris Regan (née Allen).

Linda was one of three children, along with her older sister, Cathy Regan, and her younger brother, Kenneth Regan. She graduated from Cleveland Heights High School, Class of 1978.

Linda worked at Green Road Animal Hospital in University Heights, where she met her future husband, Douglas, of Shaker Heights, when he brought in his two dogs. They were married in January of 1989, and that same year welcomed their daughter, Danielle, followed by their sons: Jackson (1991), Derek (1993), and Jared (1996).

Together, they raised their family in Beachwood. In their later years, they made their home in Gates Mills.

Linda devoted her life to her husband, children, family, and friends. She was always ready to help wherever she was needed and to offer a listening ear. She was a cherished mother, wife, sister, sister-in-law, daughter, aunt, and friend. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling the world, doing jigsaw puzzles, spending time with the family dog, Bella, and cooking meals in her dream kitchen, among many other joys.

Linda was laid to rest during a private ceremony at Lake View Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio, on March 19, 2026.

She is survived by her husband, Douglas; her children: Danielle, Jackson (Lauren), Derek, and Jared; her sister, Cathy Regan (Drew Smith), of Boulder, Colorado; and her brother, Kenneth Regan, of Cuenca, Ecuador.
