Marlene Weiner was a devoted wife to David for 47 years and a loving mother to her three children, Benjamin, Joshua, and Jonathan, and grandchildren Teddy, Ezra, Nate and Tova and spouses Mike (Benjamin) Rachel (Joshua) and Ellie (Jonathan). A lifelong Clevelander, Marlene was the cornerstone of her family—providing stability, strength, and unwavering support, while also being a trusted confidant and best friend.
Throughout her life, Marlene formed countless meaningful and enduring friendships across all walks of life, maintaining close connections with those she cherished. A proud alumna of the University of Michigan, graduating in 1968, she went on to earn her M.D. from the University of Illinois-Chicago. Her passion for learning never waned; she was rarely seen without a book in her hands, especially on Shabbat.
Though she will be deeply missed, Marlene’s legacy of love, loyalty, kindness, and a love for learning will continue to inspire all who knew her.
