Myra Swirsky, age 100, born in Kiev, Ukraine on October 19, 1923, passed away Thursday July 31, 2024 at the Maltz Hospice Center.Myra was the beloved wife of the late Simon Swirsky; devoted and loving mother of Michael (Marian) Swirski and Ninel (George) Borodi; adored grandmother of Nikki Borodi, Adina (Seth) Wolf, Rachel (Daniel) Dadusc and Dan (Molly) Swirski; loving great-grandmother to seven and great-great-grandmother of 2. Myra and Simon were both Holocaust survivors who brought their family to Cleveland, Ohio in 1966. The Couple were active in Workmen's Circle for many years. Myra was a Talented seamstress who was deeply devoted to her family. Services will be held Thursday August 1, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel. Internment Zion Memorial Park. The family will observe the week of Shiva at the Swirski residence, 2202 Acacia Park Dr. suite #2419 Lyndhurst. Hours will be 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM, daily except for Shabbos. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to a charity of choice.
