Patricia M. Martin

She is survived by Richard her adoring husband of 53 years, her son Scott (Molly), daughter Sonya (Peter Graif), grandchildren Mateo, William, Soren and Adelaide, and sister Jane (Rob).

Pat and Richard were classmates at the University of Sydney School of Medicine and came from Australia to the USA for further medical training. They settled in Cleveland 50 years ago where Pat underwent psychoanalytic training and Richard pursued a career in neonatology. Pat had a rich psychoanalytic practice and held many leadership positions in the Cleveland Psychoanalytic Center. Both children followed in their mother`s footsteps and are practicing psychiatrists.

Pat simply enjoyed life to the fullest, especially exercising and traveling. Her favorite destination was Wengen, a Swiss alpine town where challenging hikes were an integral part of multiple summer family visits. Apart from Europe there were energetic trips throughout Asia, Africa and her native Australia.

Her radiant smile will be sadly missed by her family and countless friends in Cleveland and worldwide.
