I was so sorry, in looking to make contact with Phil online,that I was made aware of his passing. He was my supervisor during my time with the Salvation Army and his genuine kindness, sincerity, humor, and honor were truly high watermarks for the profession of social work,and for man in general. I am so sorry for the loss of this great man. my condolences to his family , and i will always hold his memory in the highest of esteem.

Carol, Rob, Deb and Beth,
We loved him.  A darling baby whom I saw born and cherished, a wonderful athlete as a young boy and then a caring father and husband. Much more in between. We will never forget the good times we had at the Bar/Bat Mitzvahs and the sweetness of Phil, our dear cousin.

Carol, Rob and Deb,
How saddened I was to learn that Phil had passed away.  I still remember those many days at Groza and the Berea soccer fields with Phil â€œgentlyâ€ coaching our boys.  And I think that is the word that best embodies Phil Mason, gentle.  Phil Mason was a kind, gentle man.  What a great role model to have as a father, and in my case, as a coach for my son, Brian.  Please accept my deepest sympathies and know that all of us who were lucky enough to have Phil touch our lives are richer for it.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Mason family. I had the privilege of getting to know Phil through coaching Rob and Deb in high school tennis. Such an outstanding person and family man.

Please accept my condolences for the loss of your loved one. May your hearts be filled with joyful memories of his life lived. May this promise bring comfort to the Mason family, Psalms 9:9 says, And God will become a secure height for anyone crushed, A secure height in times of distress.
