I am so sorry to read of Dick's passing. He was my parents financial advisor forever. My father attended the Wharton School of Finance with Dick.
After my father died and my mother was ill, Dick assisted me with financial matters and helped me navigate my mother's portfolio.  
About 2018, Jim  took over where Dick left over.
An intelligent, kind man . May his memory be a blessing.

I'm so sorry I just found out that Dick passed away.  Had I known in time I would have been at the funeral service.  Dick was my father's broker and more than that he was a friend of our family.  He came to the Shiva for my mother and then at the Shiva for my father where I helplessly said to Dick that I didn't have a clue what to do next in the financial realm, he comforted me with his wise words.  And I joined Dick and his family for a Corky and Lenny's bite to eat after the funeral for Pat where I saw first hand the close bond he had with his children.  We also had the love of music in common and went together to Nighttown to hear Freddy Cole, Nat King Cole's brother who himself was a distinguished jazz artist.  Dick saw that I was enjoying his performance so much he bought me the CD.  Dick was not only a consummate financial advisor and talented musician, but most of all a major mensch who created a beautiful family whom he loved above all else.  With sadness I extend my deepest condolences.

I have had the highest regard for Dick ever since Eugene Selker referred my financial inquiry to him in the early 1960’s. In the last ¾ of a century I was happy to have Dick as my financial advisor, now handled by his exceptionally adept son. 
Over the years, there was a close financial and philosophical relationship with Dick that continues with his son, Jim.  A major part of Dick’s advice related to the options market, a trade somewhat unusual for most investors. What started with Dick has become a major financial activity in my life. Even though we were not able to see each other in recent years, due to our respective disabilities, I still find it hard to think about the fact that Dick is no longer around. Yet, I feel so fortunate to have had him as a friend for so many years, and our daily phone calls or emails were among the greatest joys of our relationship.  I certainly miss him at lot.

Very sorry to hear of Dick’s passing. He was a longtime, well respected member of UH Lodge and I enjoyed getting to know him.

I met Duck through a client many years ago. We had a lovely telephone relationship for quite a while as we both tried to always do the right thing. I finally met him in person! He was kind honest caring with a high sense of integrity.  He will be missed . May his memory be a blessing.

My cousin Marcy just sent me the obituary for your dad- what an amazing and kind man! I am so sorry for all of you- I just hope you smile at all the wonderful memories- that’s what he would want! I actually would run in for the service- but we are leaving Friday for a ranch in Colorado with most of the family. My thoughts are with all of you!
