DR. ROBERT I. NEWMAN, age 93, was born January 25, 1924 and passed away November 20, 2917. World War II Army veteran. Beloved husband of the late Elaine Newman (nee Waxgiser); devoted father of Dr. Michael (Dr. Lorna Clymer) Newman of Washington, D.C., Dr. James (Dr. Marlene Weinstein) Newman of Beachwood, OH and Perry (Sharon) Newman of S. Portland, ME; loving grandfather of Victor, Nathan, Sarah, Ilana and Lennie Newman; devoted companion of Joyce Gordon; dear brother of Arlene Newman of W. Palm Beach, FL. Funeral services will be held at BERKOWITZ-KUMIN-BOOKATZ MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1985 S. TAYLOR RD., CLEVELAND HTS., on Wednesday, November 22 at 10:00 A.M. Interment Mt. Olive Cemetery. The family will receive friends FOLLOWING SERVICES UNTIL 5 PM at the Newman residence, 25072 Bridgeton Dr., Beachwood. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the charity of choice.
