Russell David Horwich passed away peacefully on Monday, February 16, 2026, at the age of 73.
Russell was a loving father, devoted husband, and proud grandfather. He found great joy in nature and especially loved gardening, tending to his plants with care and patience. He was known for his daily smoothies, his ever-present Crocs shoes, and his deep love for his family. Russell wholeheartedly supported his loved ones in all their endeavors and was always their biggest champion.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Joan Horwich; his sons, Jacob Horwich and Ian Horwich (Samantha Spector); his cherished granddaughter, Pearl Horwich; and his siblings, Roger Horwich and Joyce Vesper.
Russell was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved son, Brian Horwich.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Mayfield Cemetery Mausoleum. Interment will follow.

Shiva will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026 1-pm-7pm at the home of Joan Horwich.
