We didn't know Sarah very well, but as long time members of Temple B'rith Shalom, we attended many services, events, and annual meetings with Sarah.  It was always clear that Sarah cared deeply about our little Temple and the congregants that give it life. However, our favorite memory of Sarah is from my the day of my son Jeffrey's Bar Mitzvah some 13 years ago.  It was a packed sanctuary that day and Sarah was in attendance.  Jeffrey did a fine job, and after the service was over, she purposely found us in the crowd and said "that was beautiful, your son is exactly what a Bar Mitzvah boy should be!" What a sweet, kind sentiment! We will always remember Sarah for that moment.

I am so grateful Ruth, Faye and I were able to visit your mom last year. She was as sharp and feisty as ever and it was good to know she had you close by to look out for her. 

I am so sorry to hear about Sarah. She was a woman who always spoke her mind and had a heart of gold. She would always call me to see how I was doing and I would call her a couple of days later to check on her. She was an amazing woman and she will be missed. I loved when she would bake with the children during religious school and she shared her recipes with us, too. She was a lot of fun and had a great sense of humor. Oh what stories she would tell and she had lots of them!! I loved being with her and listening to all her stories. Cathy and Barry, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. I tried to get onto the Zoom, but for some reason my computer wouldn't let me. Please know I am thinking about you all. Love to you all and may your mom now rest in peace.

 We were so sad to hear about your mom's passing. Please accept our deepest sympathy from our family and all of the Carrier family. We have so many wonderful memories of you, your mom and dad as neighbors from Silsby Rd. Your mom was a good friend to my mom and all our family. She was always so generous. I remember her dropping off some extra produce your dad brought home, or bringing by something she had made to share with my mom. My mom, in return, would always share some of her famous "pulla" she had made with your mom. Sarah always had such a huge heart, and I know how proud she was of you, and how you always looked out for her. After she moved to Arizona with you, whenever she came back to Cleveland, she would always call and come by and visit my mom, and even after my mom passed, Ken and I would always meet up and visit with her. We kept in touch over the phone and had some great conversations. She would always offer me cooking ideas and recipes she'd share. She is the last of our close older generation on Silsby to go. May God bless her and may she rest in peace, and may God bless you and Cathy for all you did for her. You are a good son! May all your precious memories of your mom help you through this difficult time, keep her close to your heart, and give you some peace. We will truly miss her! Beautiful service for her.

Sarah was an amazing woman.  Never afraid to speak her mind and tell it like it is.  She was always wonderful to talk to  and had so many stories to tell and memories to share.. So much yiddish history and recipes too and lots of baking.  She will be missed.

Sarah was a very special woman, great cook, great story teller and great cousin.  I remember her visits to Cleveland and getting together with her and other family members for Chinese food at her favorite Chinese restaurant.

For myself i say that it was a blessing to be of service to her when I would drive her to her medical appointments and on occasion, go out for lunch. 
Sarah taught me how to speak my mind and survive life as a single woman. Her toughness wore off on me as did her resilience.  I will forever remember her with that quick wit and quiet smile.  Safe travels my dear friend.

I knew your mom my whole life. I would even guess she and your dad were at my baby naming.  She was  always so welcoming and generous. I remember walking to her house on Silsby and visiting when I was down the street at my grandmothers. Many happy memories of your parents. May her memory be a blessing.

When I first met Sarah I was surprised to meet an "American Sabra" tough on the outside but soft and sweet on the inside a true "Israeli Sabra"!!
I got to know and love Sarah as time went on. she was a real good hearted woman and her food " Forgot about it"
You will always be remembered for the great woman you are.

So glad you lived next door and that we got to know you and Cathy and Sarah. Sarah was feisty and fun and full of kindness in her own inimitable way, especially to Steve. Our lunches together often provided me with much needed respite and laughter from a sometimes challenging life. She's home now, where she wanted to be. You're a good son and she was so proud of you. 

I have a lifetime of memories shared with your Mom, Barry.  She was truly family in every sense of the word. May her memory and devotion to you always bring you comfort and be a blessing.

 and I have been friends for several years. When Sarah lived at the Prescott Lakes Apartments, she was an active participant in my water aerobics class. She helped me continue teaching water aerobics at the Legacy. Sarah and I had many telephone  conversations together. I will miss these talks. May she rest in peace.

I met in Cleveland Ohio, she took me for a ride  showing me Cleveland , she told me her son Barry is out of town now ,

I treasure her courage and friendship .  People like Sara are far and few between. May god rest her pure soul.

A life well lived.  We'll remember the visits she made to Cleveland and the good times we had together.  Sarah had a good heart and she shared so much, especially food.  She loved to cook and teach others how to make her specialties.  
 

Thank you, Sarah, for raising the most loving, honest, compassionate, understanding, and, of course, humorous man on the planet.
