Ummm... Totally speechless! She was a light and special love and understanding in my life. She cared so much and was so genuine, I feel shamed that I did not do more to help her.  I lived so close, yet circumstances in our lives distanced us.  Shari was exemplary in compassion, hungry to learn, and willing to help others.  She leaves a huge vacuum of compassionate, caring space that only she could fill.  With all my heart, I give my saddest condolences to her daughter and family.

Cookie, I don't know where to begin. You were my first friend in Chesterland over 15 years ago. I'm sorry we didn't make it to the service. My girls didn't want to tell me because we were on a cruise. You will always be my BEST friend. We've been through a lot together. I miss you so much it's sometimes hard to breathe. You were a wonderful mom who always put her daughter first. I love you and miss you very much!

Shari I will always remember the times we spent together at Christmas.  You loved to put on a Santa hat and put our presents under the tree!  We had lots of fun times in the mountains, at Put-in-Bay and at Dave and Carole's.  You were a great mom to Sarah.  You did an awesome job raising her and we will continue to look after Sarah.  You will be missed but we will continue to tell Shari stories so you will always be with us.

I'm in shock and disbelief. Shari could light up a room with her robust laughter and we had so many memoriable times together. Shari will be missed by many.  My heart hurts for Sara's loss of a mother who deeply loved her. Rest in peace Shari, I love you and will miss you.

My favorite memories are: shari being at Sarah,s cheer/basketball games,always bringing her mom,Marilyn whom she called mommy dearest. She was so devoted to Marilyn, then Shari would bring her dinner to the game, a hot dog or Wendy,s baked potato. This always made me laugh. She would never miss seeing Sarah perform so that's why she ate at the game after working. Shari was always concerned about others and helping out, babysitting dogs, visiting the elderly. She treasured everything Sarah did and was ever so proud of her accomplishments. Sarah and marilyn were Shari,s whole life. Shari loved when she could reunite Sarah,s high school cheer friends and their moms. She loved that Sarah would have good memories to cherish forever.
Shari was that special one of a kind person, a warm heart, a beautiful human being, a mother who instilled those ever forgotten old fashion values and a devoted mother,daughter and friend. My dearest and closest friends are the ones that I have similar values and Shari was at the top of my list.
Oh, I will miss her calling me and saying, Lissa, Lissa how are you? I will miss the excitement in her voice when I talked about Sarah, I will miss our luncheon dates at paneras with her, Marilyn and Sarah. I will just miss her.

It is with great sadness and shock that I am writing this message. Shari was one of the most kind and loving people I have known. She always had a smile for everyone and was always willing to help out a friend in need. One of Shari's greatest pleasures in life was spending time with her friends. Shari had such a bubbly personality and was loved by so many people! Family was of the utmost importance to Shari, as is witnessed by her great love and devotion to both her mother and her daughter. Shari's eyes would light up as she spoke about her daughter, Sarah. You could just see her beaming with pride whenever anyone spoke of Sarah to her.  Shari will be sorely missed by all of those who were blessed enough to call her their friend.  May you rest in peace dear, sweet Shari. I hope you are reunited with your beloved mother and are free of pain forever! Thank you for your beautiful gift of friendship to me.

I have just the fondest memories of you hanging out at the mountains with Uncle Jack, Jackie and little baby Sarah with her raspy voice. Your laugh was contagious and you always made me laugh so hard. I remember we had a long chat in Ohio at one of the Disbrow parties and you were always there for me when I needed someone to talk to. I will miss you dearly and please know you'll always be part of the family. Nancy, Bob and I will always have a special place for you in our hearts. Love you always.XOXO

There really are no words for what Shari meant to our family.  A light in a dark world.  Full of life, never a mean comment of others.  Always willing to lend a hand.  My children adored her.  She would stop by out of the blue to talk, take them for ice cream, listen to their fears and joys.  A true person who loved her daughter with all she had.  People like Shari are rare and shall be missed.  We are so happy she did not suffer.  May she be with the angels as she was one!!!!! xoxo
