

Sharon Wiener, 84, passed away February 26, 2025. Beloved wife of Yoash Wiener for 55 years; beloved daughter of the late Sylvia and Sam Ringle; loving sister of the late Delores Hartzmark and sister in law of the late Lee Hartzmark; beloved Sister in law of Avi and Linda Wiener; Loving aunt of Michael Hartzmark, the late Deborah Hartzmark, Daniel Wiener and Tamar Wiener Schweitzer.
Sharon graduated from Heights High school and Ohio State University with a degree in Education
Sharon lived a wonderful life experiencing world travel, and a lifelong love of the arts, music and culture. The need to share these facets of life attracted Sharon to her life work – teaching elementary school children at Coventry School in Cleveland Heights. She loved children and she loved teaching. The pupils sensed this and responded, influencing generations of children for the better with her passion for education, life, and culture. Her students were motivated by her and loved the classroom experience only she could provide. She loved children and she loved teaching. The pupils sensed this and responded, influencing generations of children for the better with her passion for education, life, and culture. Her students were motivated by her and loved the classroom experience only she could provide.
Sharon was a patron of the Cleveland Orchestra and her legacy will live on through a section chair in her name at the orchestra.
Graveside services will be held at Mayfield Cemetery, 2749 Mayfield Rd. Cleveland Hts, Sunday, March 2 at 11:00AM. Visitors are welcome immediately after the service at Deer Creek Lodge, 27070 Cedar Rd, Beachwood, Ohio 44122 until 4 pm.
