Stuart was our family dentist for many years...What I remember most was his chair side manner, what a kind hearted mensch, a real sweet soul!!

I’m very saddened to hear the passing of Dr.  Klassman.  I used to caddy for him at Oakwood in the mid-late 1990’s.  I worked for him frequently and even though I was going to Ohio University for school he took an interest in my future.  As I was departing for my first year he took the time to give me a gift: a hat and a book, the Fountainhead.

My deepest condolences.

I briefly worked with Dr. Klassman and he was a very pleasant person to work with. He had jokes all day. Very genuine person. 

I only knew Stuart for a short time.  I met Stuart once he started coming to Cleveland Clinic and I would assist him with his appointments. Whenever I checked Stuart in we would always talk about sports, his family and he loved showing me pictures of his adorable grandkids. He was always in a cheerful mood whenever I got a chance to see him and he would brighten up my day.  I am deeply sadden and heartbroken by his sudden passing and he will be missed by me and my colleagues . My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time.

I am very sad to learn about Stuart. May he Rest In Peace.

I am so sorry about the death of your dad and brother. Went all through school with Stuart and I remember teaching him to dance. We both went to Miami U as well and I recall a fun weekend with my dad and Lou Klassman and your Uncle Irv! They came to Oxford for a football game and wined and dined us. Doesn’t seem as long ago as it was. Again, my sincere condolences.  , CHERYL SANDLER.

Offering condolences to the family and friends of Stuart Klassman: 

I came to know Stuart through our mutual profession of dentistry. In my early years of temping in dental offices, I remember meeting him in his Mayfield Hts. office. 

I found him to be a pleasure to work with, and so, when the need arose, would return to fill-in at his chairside.
Stuart treated me as an equal, always respectful and never condescending. He was so easy to talk to. I particularly remember one day spending an entire lunch break in his office discussing Life. In a brief hour, we covered family, personal relationships, and religion! Even though our backgrounds were different, we shared similar outlooks on life and the after-life. 

The Stuart I remember was dedicated to his family,  his friends, his religion, and his profession. He was compassionate, and open and honest with his opinions. Stuart had a sensitivity and awareness of the fragility of humanity which is rarely expressed openly. I am sure this is why so many of his patients felt secure in his loving hands. 

I learned all this about Stuart while spending only a few days with him. May these memories soothe your souls in these moments of profound loss. 

Rest easy, Stuart. I will be looking for you on the other side.

I met "Froggy" in 1962 at Miami.  We became friends during the next four years, sharing classes and frat life, and long drives on weekends to Cleveland, Chicago, and St. Louis in his  58 VW.    
He was a good friend, a good guy, and he will be missed.     
Rest in Peace Stuart,  and may your memory be a blessing for your family and friends.

It’s not been an easy road for Stuart, but at the end of the day let it be said your dad was a really nice man, with good intentions!     
We go way back, and I never will regret those early years with The Klassman’s.

For 5 years 1987-1992; Stuart and Kenny sat directly behind my father and me at Cleveland Browns games. Stuart bought be a hot dog every Sunday and that is just one of many reasons why he will be missed.
