Sue and I worked in the art department for Cambridge Public Schools. We became working friends and after retirement,  we both shared many activities together. We had one adventure after another. She was my soulmate and a generous loving person who was always ready for a new adventure. I miss her every day.

I met Sue through the Lexington Newcomers' Club and various social occasions.  No matter how big the crowd was, I could always find her.  She was this upbeat person who brought energy to the room.  Stories of her latest adventures drew laughters from everyone.  Her enthusiasm and sunshine smile will be missed.  My thoughts go out to her family and loved ones.  May she rest in peace.

Suzi and I met a good number of years ago playing golf with a group of women in Lexington. The best part of our games was not our scores, but rather the personal, heartfelt, and often hilarious life stories we shared.  We all looked forward to hearing about Suzi's latest adventures.  She was a talented woman, a loving mother and a loyal friend.  My deepest sympathy.

Rochel, Kevin and families and friends,
I 1st met Suzi and Roy thru Lexington Newcomers participating in many events in the 70's and early 80's. More recently We started playing golf with several lady friends when Roy became ill and after he passed. We shared a love for the arts. She had sooo much energy and talent. She adored her children and grandchildren. She loved her dogs and to travel. She was a tremendously caring woman. Oh, could we laugh! The last we spoke She was so happy. She and Anton were just heading out for a sail. What a tragic loss for you all who loved her most. My heart is broken for the loss of a dear friend and I take comfort that she had found such happiness and joy. I was blessed to have had her in my life. My deepest sympathies.

  AFter Roy died, she visited us . we visited her, and she and I had a wonderful trip to Del Ray a few years ago

I was so saddened and shocked to hear of Sue's death and extend my sympathy to her family. I met Sue through the Lexington Newcomers' Club.  She was a very active participant in the club and I always admired her for her zest for life and her creative talent.  I am originally from Ohio and have family in the Cleveland area, so I enjoyed talking to Sue about my home state.  She was such a joy to be around and was always smiling and laughing.  May she rest in peace.

We have been Sue's cross street neighbor for 5 years before she moved to Newburyport. She was very kind to our family. She always prepared gifts and treats for the kids in the holidays and we still have the beautiful painting from her for our twin babies. She even came back to visit us a couple of times after she moved out. We will miss her as always. Rest in peace Sue.

I am shocked and wish to send Sue's family my deepest condolences. I knew Sue from the Lexington Newcomers Club. We had fun together at the Lunch Bunches and parties and I will miss her exuberance and friendliness. May she rest in peace.

We are sorry for your loss. Su was a  great and reliable friend who was full of kindness and generousity to so many people.  I will always remember fondly our mutual interests in the creative arts and how much fun we had together. 

I particularly appreciate how special it was for her to take time to visit my parents when they were ill.  Su will surely be missed by all who knew her.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Your mom was a ray of sunshine to so many. She was a loyal friend to my parents for so many years. Praying that she has found her beloved Roy.

What a woman! Tony and I have not known your mother long but we are so happy that she was in our lives, even for a few years. It has been a long time since we have known someone so vibrant, so full of life, so kind, so generous, and a good friend. Tony and I really got to know Su when her basement flooded in Lexington. Tony and I spent many hours helping her out of a tragic situation and we have remained good friends since then. We helped when she moved from Lexington, and most recently enjoyed the beautiful home she shared with Anton in Newbury. We were so looking forward to the dinner that the 4 of us were planning to share soon. We miss you. May you rest in peace. I hope your family realize what a great person you were to all of your friends.

To Rochel, Kevin, and your families, I am saddened to hear of your mother's passing.  I will always remember how kind, thoughtful, and generous she was to me as a teenager and young adult. I am so sorry for your loss and hope you find comfort in wonderful memories and knowing how beloved she was.

My Condolences to Sue's family. Sue was A  Special Lady. She was a Great Neighbor in the community of Lexington. She was Kind ,Thoughtful, Caring and Respectful. She was Well Respected in her community.We have lost a Dear Friend .Words cannot explain the heartbreak felt of her sudden departure. I only have Good Memories of Sue. We are so sad by this news.  We have two beautiful pieces of artwork that Sue created for each of our daughters that we treasure.  I will think of her with great fondness every time I look at them.

Sue shared her art, her flowers and her generous spirit with friends and neighbors in Lexington.  I will miss her greatly.

Sue was a longtime and well loved member of the Lexington Newcomers Club. She brought enthusiasm, laughter, and style to every event she attended. Even after moving to Newburyport she would pop back into town to visit friends or attend a Newcomers event just to say, "Hi!" She brought joy and light wherever she went. She will be missed.

Sue was a kind, generous and talented woman. I did not know her well though she and my mother were friends in Lexington. I got to see how wonderful she was when she came to a party for the birth of my triplets.  A wonderful painting, made by Sue, with my kids' names hung in their room. Rest in PEace Sue.

My husband and I  had the pleasure and fun of knowing Suzi for probably 25 years, plus, as part of the Old Res Yacht Club and more specifically the gourmet group in Lexington. She was such a generous, warm hearted person with a true love of life. She will be sorely missed! Our sincere condolences go out to Kevin, Rochel and all of Suzi's grandchildren. You have lost a treasure!

I had the pleasure of know Sue for the last 5 years. She was an amazing woman and wonderful artist. I was honored when she asked me to make her Granddaughter's wedding cake, and even more honored to be gifted 3 of her paintings which hang as a focal point in our living room. Her light shines bright here in Lexington, MA. All of my thoughts and prayers to you.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Sue thru various circles of friends and social clubs since moving to town.  I remember her for her outgoing and caring personality-someone who always made me laugh.  She had a passion for life and was always willing to start a new adventure-very artsy and always quite stylish in her own unique way.  She will be missed by so many of us gals. Mrs. Cohen was a nurturing and strong woman who was always so nice to me and my family.  She seemed to notice the true value and spirit in those around her and had such an eye for artistic talent.  Her legacy are her children and her memory will be cherished by everyone she has touched in her life.
