
age 73. Beloved husband of 48 years to Sally (nee Kalson). Loving father of Jennifer Wolinetz (Adam) and Andrew Greene; devoted papa of Chase and Spencer Wolinetz; dear brother of Hermine (Saul-deceased) Eisen; son of the late Alexander Greene and Lois Greene and loving uncle. A respected and highly-accomplished attorney in Cleveland for nearly five decades, Greene served as the president of the Cleveland Academy of Trial Lawyers, the chairman of the Civil Litigation Committee for the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers and a fellow in the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and the International Society of Barristers. Between 1994 and 2002, he was on the Board of Commissioners on Grievances and Discipline of the Supreme Court of Ohio. He was also listed in the Best Lawyers in America for over two decades. Greene had many passions in life, golf being the foremost, but nothing gave him greater joy than his children and grandchildren. He was also fiercely loyal to his large circle of lifelong friends. Greene was an avid coin collector, a diehard fan of Cleveland sports teams, particularly the Browns, and proud of his membership in B.A.T at Cleveland Heights High School and Z.B.T. at Ohio State University. He gradated from Case Western Reserve Law School in 1971. For 42 years, he was the co-owner of Chagrin Falls restaurant Rick’s Cafe. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
