Mi querida familia Pagan.  It sadden my heart when Lourdes, my sister told me that Anastacio had died. Your family and mine go back many years.  I remember when your mom and mine were good friends and our fathers were good friends.  The greatest of the great are gone to greener pastures and are together singing praising our God together.  My parents are gone and your parents are now both gone. May they rest in the loving hands of our maker who keeps us all in check.  I am so sorry that I did not get to his wake and funeral. My deepest condolences to the entire Pagan family.  Anastacio's legacy will live on because his children and their children will continue to fight for the causes he believed in and helped to intergrade the Pride and Passion of the Latino culture into the non-Latino communities.  I know he was very Proud of all his family members for setting the bar high when it came to accomplishments, continuance and advocating the importance of educating themselves and others, and for always representing themselves and the Pagan name with dignity and pride.

Thank you Lord Jesus for blessing my family and me with the love and relationship from my Grand-daddy. I so thank you Heavenly Father for the many cherished moments we have of my earthly Daddy's counsels, teachings, constructive disagreements, laughter, fellowships and "domino" games. I thank you Lord for his faithfulness unto to You. My Daddy was a faithful man of prayer. He was a man of great character, sternness, firmness, focus, commitment and unwavering. A man of God who demonstrated stability, surety, boldness, and strength both spiritually and naturally. A man who knew of your love, power and might, and rested in your hope,grace and mercy. As your envoy, he did his portion of the Great Commission planting Your Seeds of the Good News, of aiding the poor, of Your compassion and servitude. Thank you God for all the goodness You poured into him and he poured out unto us all.

We pray Your peace during this season of mourning upon all of us who loved my Grand-daddy.

My deepest condolences to the entire Pagan family! Never had the opportunity to meet Mr Pagan but knowing his family he had to be a wonderful man! Rest in peace with all the Angels Above! God Be with his family and give them strength and comfort in the days ahead.

I ask for your prayers for Lucy Barron and the Pagan family. Mr. Pagan passed away early this morning with some of his 9 children at his beside. He was a wonderful man who raised 9 children by himself. His dear wife passed away 55 years earlier. She finally called him home; his job was done. He was a devout Catholic and activist in the Hispanic Community in Cleveland. He was a gentleman who was loved by so many and will be sorely missed. Love to the Pagan family.

My condolences to the entire Pagan family. I am a cousin of Celina and Marisol and remember Anastacio as a kind, gentle soul. As a young girl, a memory I have is that he made the best Limbe De Coco in the summertime. My prayer for the Pagan family is that the Good Lord comforts you and gives you the peace that your hearts need in your time of sorrow.

A man of faith and love for his family. He forever will be a man to look up to and aspire to become.
