It was always a smile and hello when you would see me. I’m the daughter of a old friend of yours that was a dj back in the 1970’s by the name of Guito Guerra. I pray he welcomed you with open arms when you got to the gates of Heaven. RIP my dear friend and give my dad a big hug from me. 

I am a Professor on TRI-C's Metro Campus, and always enjoyed the big smile Camilo would make when he saw me. We greeted each other with "Hola!" and shared good wishes to each other. He will be missed very much. May he rest in peace.

Camilo will be missed at Tri-c. He was always so friendly and nice. For the last couple of years he had invited myself and my family to the yearly Peruvian party he helped out with in the summer. My family and I enjoyed those parties a lot the last couple of years and I’m thankful he introduced me to learn more about Peruvian Culture. It will be hard to attend those parties now and not see him greeting people at the door. Such a good man. 

It has been very hard to walk the Tri-C South Concourse at lunchtime knowing I will not be greeted by Carmilo’s beautiful smile and a side joke. My heart remains heavy. To the family: Psalm 55: 22 - Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken. My prayers for the Family.

Camilo brought laughter and joy to everyone he encounter. He always took the time to stop and say hello and ask about my day. I will miss our conversations. My condolences to the family and everyone who loved Camilo. Tri-C Metro Campus will always remember your smile. 

Camilo was such a kind man. I will miss his knocks on the office door to say hello or when he would open the door to greet me. My heart and prayers go out to his family during this difficult time. His spirit and friendliness will be missed here at Tri-C. 

Tri-C Metro campus will never be the same without you,  your kind spirit, the jokes, the daily good Mornings......you were truly one of a kind.  We will miss you Camilo! I will be praying for your family, and will make sure to check on Evelyn for you! 

Camilo was one of the first people I met some 15 years ago here at Tri-C.  I remember when we started the first Wi-Fi Café in the MLA building and he and Evelyn would come have breakfast with us every morning.  I will truly miss seeing his smiling face everyday, just an overall happy and gentle soul.  He will be missed!!

I met Camilo some time after my wife died, when everything was awful -- early one day, he said "Good Morning." Despite the face I wore to scare people away still, he spoke. Every day after that, with a smile-- he couldn't know he helped me back to life. I wish I'd thanked him for giving me my good mornings back.

I am so sorry about your loss. My husband and I knew him for a long time he was a wonderful person.  Every Christmas we received a card from this family. He will never be forgotten.  I pray for this family that GOD will give you his peace and love at this sad moments. I am really so sorry.
