Charles G. Edwards Jr.

He was born in Cleveland, the son of Charles G. Edwards, Sr. (Julia Brown) and the late Cassandra Y. Johnson. He is the loving brother of Eleshia Johnson, Joseph Johnson, Etoya Edwards, and Cassandra Johnson and step-brother of Merle Greene, Jr., Octavia Greene and Natisha Greene; dear nephew of Derrick Johnson, Tonikka Harrison, Raufeal Johnson, DeAngelo Dewberry, Cynthia Newton, Cynthia Davenport, Felicia Davenport, Michelle Davenport, Angela Davenport and Lewis Davenport; adored uncle and cousin of many. He was preceded in death by his mother and his grandparents, Gloria Edwards, Herman Davenport, June Dewberry, Paul Dewberry and his uncle, Wayne Johnson.

Charles was a warm, loving and vibrant man who lit up the room when he entered. He adored his family and they are forever grateful for the many memories they have with him. He loved basketball and football and supported the Cavs and the Browns. He also took after his father and loved a good pool game. He will be dearly missed by those who truly knew him.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 10AM-12PM at Craciun Berry Funeral Home, 7200 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 12PM. Committal services to follow at Riverside Cemetery.
