She was born in Kingwood, West Virginia,; the daughter of the late Iris E. Lucabaugh (nee Root). Connie was the beloved wife of the late Francis L. Plum; loving mother of Erran (Adrian) Vance, Rusty Plum (deceased), Joshua (Brenda) Plum, Jonathan (Lauri) Plum (deceased), Russell Plum (deceased) and Keren (Mike) Williams, cherished grandmother of Amber, Emily, Makenzie, Alex, Mason, Steven and Vinny and great-grandmother of Liam and Ellie; dear sister of Karen (Mike) Turkovich, Twila (Steve) Nezbeth and the late Kaye (Larry) Garlitz, Ray Nine, Asa Nine and Carrie Nine and sister-in-law of Dorothy (Archie, deceased) Casteel, Jack (Marty) Plum, Roberta (Rick) Faulknier and the late Paul (Shirley) Plum, Don (Betty, surviving) Plum, Charles (Marcina, surviving) Plum, Martin (Kathy, surviving) Plum, Johnny Plum, Bonnie Nelson and Calvin (Doris, surviving) Plum; adored aunt and friend of many.
Connie was devoted to her family and was "Mama Plum" to all of her children's friends. Everyone was family, and she was well known for her homemade bread. A woman of faith, Connie was devoted to the Lord and loved to sing His praises. She enjoyed nature and bird watching. Everyone will remember her for her sarcastic sense of humor and sharp wit.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 4PM-7PM and on Friday from 10AM-11AM with a funeral service at 11AM at Cleveland Baptist Church, 4431 Tiedeman Rd., Brooklyn, Ohio 44144.
