

Cora Lee Howard was born on April 11, 1936 to the patronage of the late Len Foster and the late Artie
Lee Moore Foster in Union Springs, AL. She departed her earthly life after a lengthy illness on March
20, 2024 at King David Post Acute (formerly Menorah Park Nursing Home) located in Beachwood,
Ohio.
Cora was a 1958 graduate from Carver High School in Union Springs, Alabama. She was a member of
Silla Baptist Church, where she was converted and baptized. She also attended Sunday school and
Bible study.
After High School, she relocated to Cleveland, Ohio where she met and married Baker Howard, who
was a loving stepfather to her son, the late Terry Foster. She joined Lee Memorial A.M.E. Church
where enjoyed singing in the choir and a member until her illness.
Cora was employed for many years at Highland Hospital and University Hospital where she retired.
Cora was a fun-loving person. She had a love for music and loved cookouts and bingo.
She leaves to mourn four sisters, Dorothy Campbell of Saginaw, Michigan, Inez Dominick of Cleveland
Heights, Ohio, Frankie Wilson of Tuskegee, Alabama and Judy Malone of Montgomery, Alabama;
three brothers, Lindbergh Foster of Cleveland, Ohio, Samuel (Brenda) Foster and Nathaniel Crayton
of Tuskegee, Alabama; one aunt, Odell Cobbs; three nephews, Kevin Baisden, Maurice Lang and
Tyrone Foster; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends. Special thanks to the staff
at King David (Menorah Park).

A wake for Cora will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Cummings & Davis Funeral Home, 13201 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44112. A funeral service will occur Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 10:00 AM, 13201 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44112. An interment private will occur.
