Dwayne's vibrant personality made him the life of every party, often seen dancing to Michael Jackson's music or quoting lines from his favorite show, "Goodtimes," and movie, "The Wizard of Oz." His warm presence and infectious laughter left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Dwayne attended East Technical College, where he furthered his education and prepared for future endeavors. He was a devout Christian and served as an altar boy at St. Joseph's parish, dedicating his early years to his faith and community.
He was predeceased by his parents, Dolores and Lawrence Alexander, with whom he shared a profound connection, especially with his mother, Dolores, as they shared the same birthday. Dwayne's legacy is carried on by his brother, Daryl (Denise); his sister, Kim; his niece, Kyra (Larry); great nephews, Arrin, Andrew, and Keyshawn; great niece, Alontae; and three great-great-grand nieces, Brieon, Kardi, and Essence. Dwayne also leaves behind a very special friend and caregiver, Ms. Darlene Darby-Baldwin, along with numerous other family members and friends who will deeply miss him.
Dwayne's life will be celebrated and remembered for the joy and love he brought into the world, and his memory will continue to inspire those who knew him.
